Decent stay, but not perfect

Had a good time overall. The room was clean and had a comfy bed. The on-site bar was nice, and the staff was mostly friendly, except for a few bartenders who were kind of rude. It was a bummer that no one cleaned our room during the day. And seriously, why no microwaves in the rooms?

I loved how close this hotel was to Herrick Lake Forest Preserve, just a short walk away, perfect for a peaceful stroll in nature, and Lake Marmo was also a nice spot to unwind, making my weekend city escapade so much better. those parks really enhanced my stay and encouraged my love for weekend explorations.
